Chapter 24 Dog Welder

Gotham.

Wearing an English windbreaker, well-dressed, and holding a civilized cane, Count Dizzy walked on the streets of the Little Saint Priss district.

Although this is not the worst and poorest neighborhood in Gotham, it is still not developed and orderly. If it were normal, Count Dizzy would never come to such a sinking area full of rudeness and vulgarity, but the employer of this mission required...

Beep-beep-beep-

Count Dizzy paused and looked at the driver who was cursing next to him.

"Fuck you! Are you deaf?"

The irritable driver honked the horn again, making a deafening sound. Seeing that Count Dizzy did not react at all, he actually took out a gun from his arms and pointed it at the other party.

"Get out of the way, do you want to open dozens of transparent holes in your body?"

This is a typical mania. Count Dizzy frowned. He didn't expect that even maniacs can go out on the street openly in this city and even get a driver's license.

"Fuck you, if you don't get out of my way--"

Wu hum hum hum--

Instantly, the intangible wave swept across the other party's brain. The driver lowered his head, and with a puff, an eyeball jumped out of his eye socket and fell to the ground.

Amid the screams of exhaustion and the long whistle of his head hitting the horn, the Count Dizzy bowed slightly, performed a standard British etiquette, then turned around and walked towards a dilapidated apartment on the side of the road.

"Let me see the address... No. 52. It's indeed correct."

He turned around the exposed concrete steps and the red handrails with peeling paint, came to the door of Room 401, and stretched out his hand.

Knock knock knock--

"Come in."

"Wow!"

The Count Dizzy made a somewhat surprised sound as soon as he entered the room.

From the outside, this place is no different from those ordinary residential apartments near the slums. Even the door looks like wood, but once you walk in, you will immediately find a different world.

Behind the wooden door is a completely alloy metal airtight door, which can effectively control the air pressure.

The walls, ceiling and floor are all made of metal plates, with explosion-proof paint on the outside and anti-corrosion paint on the inside.

This is a professional explosion-proof room. Even if the building collapses, this room will not be destroyed.

Various weapons are piled in the corners of the room, including grenades, rocket launchers, and even multiple explosives.

On the other side of the room is a table with four people sitting next to it.

Two of them are known to Count Dizzy, the famous Death Shooter, whose shooting ability is as famous as his bad character; the other is the British mercenary Ms. Vick, who has a murder ability as deadly as her seductive appearance.

The remaining two masked people are unknown: the younger woman is relatively normal, wearing a smiling cat mask and a long knife on her waist. Count Dizzy guessed that this is another assassin-type mercenary; and the other one is a bit weird.

The man was sitting in a corner, wearing a welding mask, the kind of transparent, glare-proof welding mask used by welders.

He had a pair of gas cylinders on his back, a welding gun in his hand, and wore a light gray tights and suspenders, and a pair of long rubber shoes.

From this point of view alone, he was a completely ordinary welder.

But what was striking was that he was holding a dog's body tightly in his left hand.

It was a very ordinary dog, which looked like a golden retriever, but only the upper half. Someone used something to cut the dog in half and took away the upper half.

The dog seemed to have just died, and it was even quite fresh. Half of the internal organs were dangling, and the Count of Dizziness felt something rolling in his stomach just by looking at it.

And the man's left hand actually stabbed into the dog from the back of the waist, ignoring the blood dripping down his arm.

"You..."

"Hello, my name is Dog Welder. Nice to meet you, new friend! I just arrived too."

The Dog Welder spoke... Wait, it wasn't a person who spoke, it was a dog who spoke.

??? ?

It was a real dog who spoke. The dead dog on the left hand of the Dog Welder suddenly raised its head, and a dog face with eyes wide open in death actually had a joyful smile on it.

"Are you also hired to participate in the mission?"

This weird and terrifying scene really frightened the Dizzy Count, but he was not a normal human being, so he quickly restored his noble dignity.

"Yes, sir, it's an honor to work with you."

He tried not to stare at the dead dog in the other's hand, walked to Ms. Vic, and kissed her hand: "Beautiful lady, your face shines like the stars in the sky."

"Count Dill, old friend." Ms. Vic is a slim woman with blond hair and blue eyes. She wears an eye mask and a red and gold tights, but her upper shoulders and half of her breasts are exposed.

"You..."

"Enough, when can you stop playing your elegant noble game?"

Death Shooter, who was treated as air throughout the whole process, knocked on the table dissatisfiedly: "Now that everyone is here, let's listen to what weird tasks our sponsor is going to issue us."

He raised his chin to the Cheshire Cat, and the taciturn masked cat took out a recorder from the pile of grenades next to him.

"Ha, dear, am I seeing right, a recorder?" Ms. Vic said.

Death Shooter ignored her. He pressed a button on the recorder, raised the antenna, and adjusted it for a while. Then he said, "The employer asked us to turn on the radio after everyone is here. Be quiet and wait quietly. I think you are all here for money. It's just right, so am I." So the four of them waited quietly, and soon, amid the rustling sound, a voice finally came: "Zizizizi... Can you hear me?" "Yes, employer." Death Shooter replied, "What do you want us to do this time? Is it to catch the arsonist fireflies, or other criminals who popped out of the corners, our righteous employer?" "Neither." Death Shooter heard that the employer's voice became a little hoarse under the influence of the radio. He had checked that this recorder was an oversized wireless walkie-talkie. Does this mean that the employer is nearby at this time? "I have assigned a leader to you, and you must obey his orders. Especially you, Count Vertigo." Count Vertigo was a little disapproving. Although he knew that he was not the only one on this mission, he never thought about cooperating with others.

He is a lone ranger, a lone wolf. He completed the same mission with others this time, just for the sake of money. Do you still expect him to listen to others' orders?

What do you think this leader is, Batman?
