Final words
Rather than saying it as a reflection, let’s just write a summary.
The biggest reason for ending the book is simply the performance. The performance of this book is really bad. How bad is it? The first order was only 180. After three months of persistence, the performance still hasn’t improved much. The author is not too young. , it is difficult to generate electricity for love and rely entirely on enthusiasm to support it.
I originally wanted to persist for two more months and write at least 800,000 words, but I suddenly felt unwell during the Chinese New Year, which was the last straw that pushed me to finish this book. Fortunately, I went for a few checkups before and after, and although there were some Few problems, but no serious diseases.
This is my first time writing about fairy tales. This book was originally planned to be four volumes.
The first volume is about trivial matters in the human world. The protagonist leaves the sect and travels around the Xia Dynasty. Through each case, he follows the clues to lead to the conspiracy of the court. Therefore, the plan of the first volume is to expand the world view and solve the cases through reasoning to advance the story.
However, the effect was very poor. There were too many comments about people who didn't like the mystery plot. I really didn't dare to write anymore and rushed to the second volume.
The second volume is about the court and the sect, the conspiracy of the royal family, the conflicts between the court and the sect, etc. Through this battle, the grievances between the demon clan and the human race are revealed.
The problem with this volume is that the writing is not strong enough, and many of the pictures imagined in my mind are not very satisfactory.
The third volume should be about the story of the protagonist traveling all over Kyushu after the Kyushu were united into one, and the story was about the imperial decree to seal the gods of mountains and rivers.
The fourth volume is about the war between humans and monsters.
The setting of the third volume is similar to that of the first volume. It is a small story that slowly leads to the subsequent story. It is a pity to cut off this part, but fortunately, cutting this part will not have a great impact on the main plot.
The ending was written according to the setting I had planned at the beginning. Although it was finished in a hurry, the main story is actually relatively complete. Of course, I am still very ashamed of this result.
Through this book, I also realized some problems, such as the writing was not detailed enough. In the first two books, I focused more on creating a comedy atmosphere and conceiving more laughs, so that the plot was not so detailed. But when writing about immortals, This has become a problem. The story starts in a hurry and ends in a hurry. It feels like the story is not rich enough and the characters are not three-dimensional enough.
This leads to another problem, update, my level is not enough to support me to create a three-dimensional character through a very small amount of words.
For example, in the second volume, I originally wanted to put a lot of ink into the character Yun Daoning, but it didn't work. Once I focus on describing him, it may take three to five chapters. At my update speed, it will take two to three days, two or three days. If you can't see the protagonist, readers will run away and get trolled. This problem is not a problem for authors who update quickly. Five chapters a day, even if the first four chapters of 8,000 words are given to supporting characters, there will still be scenes of the protagonist that day. .
Then the question arises, how slow is the author's coding?
It’s not that typing is slow. The author even learned Shuangpin in order to code words, but the writing speed is not good enough. To write millions of words, at the best time, one chapter takes an hour and a half.
When I first started writing a book, I met a few friends who wrote books in the author group Shuiqun. One day, I was in a good mood, and I made an appointment with one of my author friends. We made an appointment to see who could finish two chapters of 4,000 words first. .
After I started, I felt like I was full of ideas. I wrote 800 words in half an hour. At this moment, QQ suddenly rang. I opened it and saw that I had finished writing a chapter. After another half hour, I wrote 1,500 words. Brother, I have finished writing two chapters, and this incident is still fresh in my memory.
When I say this, I am not making excuses, I am just sharing, and I am just telling you the situation of some authors truthfully.
I still have to continue writing books. After this transformation failure, I will return to entertainment in my next book. I will try my best to keep it light and funny, not as nonsensical as before, and write more carefully. I hope that while maintaining the advantages of the past, I can continue to write books. progress.
The new book will be released soon...the day after tomorrow...the day after tomorrow...anyway, it will be released in the next few days. Friends who like it still hope to support it.
