Chapter 380 Preaching, cause and effect suddenly arise

Li Zhi began to preach to the people under the dry well.

Except for the disciples of the Canglan Sect, everyone else thought that Li Zhi was talking about his own cultivation experience and sharing some small tricks.

Unexpectedly, Li Zhi opened his mouth with a sentence, which made people listen to the clouds and fog, and they did not understand the meaning of the words.

If a great success is lacking, its use will not be harmful; if a great gain is overwhelming, its use will be endless. Great straightness is like bending, great skill is like clumsiness, great debate is like indifference. Agitation defeats cold, tranquility defeats heat, and tranquility is the right of the world.

"Senior Brother Li, what do you mean by this? I don't understand it at all!"

A disciple of the Chunyang Sect immediately asked.

Zhong Yushan glared at him and told him to shut up and not interrupt Li Zhi.

"Senior Brother Zhong, why are you staring at me? I really don't understand. Do you understand? Since you don't understand, it's natural to ask, otherwise it will be a waste of Senior Brother Li Zhi's talk."

The language habits of Blue Star Classical Chinese are different from those in this world. At first glance, people here find it difficult to understand even the literal meaning, so it is normal for them not to understand.

But this was not Li Zhi's deliberate attempt to make things difficult, to make himself appear mysterious and mysterious.

But these are the words of the Great Dao and cannot be easily translated.

In fact, from his own heart, Li Zhi was unwilling to explain these classics.

I am just a common being on the path of seeking.

As long as you don't know the truth, you won't dare to say that you understand it clearly.

In this case, as soon as you open your mouth, it will be your own one-sided understanding, which is just misleading.

The true Tao requires everyone to understand it when they encounter difficulties in life.

At that time, what you realize is what truly belongs to you.

However, people in this world have no concept of the Great Dao at all, and some only practice cultivation.

Li Zhi forced them to realize on their own. They had not even entered the Tao, so how could they achieve enlightenment?

It's just a matter of hearing it and forgetting it. Nothing will change. This is not what Li Zhi wants.

Therefore, he had no choice but to annotate the classics and lead everyone to the Tao first!

"Everyone, this is not what I said. I am just stating my understanding for your reference. It cannot be used as a guideline. Everyone has their own understanding. The experience that truly comes from the heart is Your own stuff.”

This sentence is what Li Zhi must say clearly every time he gives a sermon and explanation.

Gao Ce had also wondered before why Li Zhi still took the trouble to say this when there were no newcomers.

But Li Zhi smiled and said that he would naturally know it after he realized the Tao himself.

Regarding enlightenment, Gao Ce, intuition and mystery, there is no clue at all.

Gao Ce was Li Zhi's first follower in the Canglan Sect, and he stayed with Li Zhi for the longest time.

Even he is like this, let alone others.

After a long time, the disciples of the poor family also regarded this as a rule.

If they relayed Li Zhi's words on other occasions, they would definitely add this sentence. Otherwise, if the news spreads and other people know about it, they will definitely come looking for trouble.

After Li Zhi said this, he revealed all his feelings.

“The most perfect thing may seem defective, but its effect will never fail;

The most abundant thing seems to be empty, but its effects are inexhaustible.

The most upright thing seems to be crooked; the most dexterous thing seems to be the most clumsy; the most outstanding eloquence seems to be inarticulate.

Agitation can overcome cold, and tranquility can overcome heat. Quietness is the best state for a person! "

The simple literal meaning was naturally not enough to move everyone. After listening to Li Zhi's explanation, everyone's expressions remained as usual. They felt that this was what Li Zhi was talking about when he started such a big battle?

This is too spacey and too big. I can say this myself, and I can get as many as I want without even thinking about it.

"How far a person can cultivate depends on what?"

Just when everyone was disapproving, Li Zhi suddenly spoke.

When everyone heard Li Zhi start to ask a question, and the question was the most basic one, they immediately became interested.

"Genius bone!"

"Opportunity!"

"Powerful cultivation technique!"

Disciples from various sects answered one after another, and there were many answers. One even named a powerful Taoist companion.

Everyone burst into laughter and glanced at Pei Xuanzhen.

It turned out that Pei Xuanzhen was extremely resistant to this kind of gaze, but for some reason, she no longer felt that disgust in her heart.

It's just a skin, it won't live forever, and after its death, it will be just a white skeleton, similar to that mummy that everyone is afraid of.

Take a look, just take a look, it doesn’t matter.

Li Zhi also laughed with everyone, "What everyone said is correct, but most of these are external things. Genuine talent is given by God and is determined at birth. Chance talent, skills, Taoist companions, etc. Even more so.

Haven't you ever thought about whether the deepest parts of ourselves, the things that best represent ourselves, the things that existed before we were born, have any impact on our cultivation? "

"Ah? It's earlier than the mother's womb. It still has a soul, and the body has not yet formed. How can I still exist!"

"good!"

Li Zhi did not expect that this group of people had good understanding, and he could discover the root of the problem with a little guidance.

"I only came into existence after the mother's womb. Before, I did not exist. We call the after the mother's womb the day after tomorrow, and the things before the mother's womb become the innate.

If there is no existence of me innately, then what is there innately? "

"Of course I have my parents!"

"Hahaha, Mu Qing, don't interrupt!"

A disciple of the Hidden Sun Sect with an out-of-touch personality followed closely, and Li Zhi also smiled for a while.

"Mu Qing, what you said is right, but let's think about it, what about before my parents were born, and where were my parents' parents? Where did the first person come from?"

"Senior Brother Li means that innate is heaven and earth?"

"Besides heaven and earth, there is heaven and earth. Innate is a chaotic state at the beginning of the universe, when everything has not happened yet. Everything in the world is conceived from innate chaos. We use this to gestate everything. Things are called Tao, the Great Way!"

Li Zhi paused for a moment, looked at everyone's thoughtful expressions, and continued: "This is what I'm talking about when I preach. And since we are born from innate chaos, then we and this heaven and earth, They all come from the same place, have the same parents, and although the children are different, their essence is the same.

And what we bring out from innateness is the greatest creation of human beings! "

When Li Zhi said this, some people began to frown. They felt that this was a bit far-fetched. Are human beings and heaven and earth essentially the same? Isn't this lying with your eyes open?

“A person’s achievement is not determined by the judgment of things acquired, but rather by the extent to which he, as a natural being, develops the true nature of his innate creation.

Therefore, to tirelessly pursue those acquired qualities from the outside and ignore the innate qualities that you already have is to exaggerate the small things.

The so-called "if a great achievement is lacking, it has no disadvantages", that is, great achievements are completed according to the nature of the thing itself. It itself creates nothing, so it seems to be lacking.

The most abundant things are given in compliance with the needs of all things. They hold nothing back, so they are like empty things.

Things appear to be one situation on the surface, but they are actually another situation. Appearance and reality are sometimes completely opposite.

There is nothing truly perfect in the world. As the saying goes, "When the moon is full, it is waning, and when the sun is midpoint, it is waning." If something reaches the extreme, it will transform in the opposite direction, so the perfection of things often contains "deficiency". There is often a "charge" left in the filling.

"If there is a big surplus, it will be of endless use." Just like a dam, the water surface must be kept below safe limits at all times to achieve its maximum effect. If you pursue too much, it will cause the water to break through the dam, causing disaster, and the big surplus will turn into a big empty.

"It's as straight as it is bending, it's as clever as it is clumsy, it's like being clumsy when it comes to argument." Straightness and bending, cleverness and clumsiness, debate and restraint are inherently complementary to each other. In relative terms, there is no completely clear boundary between them and they can be transformed at any time.

"Quietness defeats impatience, cold defeats heat. Tranquility is the right thing for the world." Quietness is absolute, while movement is relative.

Between heaven and earth, all restless things will return to tranquility, such as the ripples in the pond, the echoes in the valley, the swaying trees, the flying butterflies... Similarly, people are also ignorant and desireless at the beginning, and the human heart is also without desire. The reason why there are no waves is precisely because under the temptation of external objects and external desires, the heart becomes restless, and people begin to know gains and losses, beauty and ugliness, cold and heat, etc. If there is no interference from external things, people will return to simplicity and their hearts will return to tranquility.

In this way, we can fight against innateness! "

Li Zhi first introduced the concept of Tao to everyone, and then explained the words in the Tao Te Ching to everyone from the perspective of nature and nurture.

Although Li Zhi felt that he had given everything he had, most people still listened in confusion, thinking that even if they knew these things, what could they do? Could it be that my cultivation level can be improved because of this?

When I was thinking about it, suddenly, there was a huge movement from the side.

Huge streams of life force actually came from a Mingxuan casual cultivator.

Everyone was so shocked that they looked sideways.

When Li Zhi first spoke, this person didn't take it seriously. His mind was divided in two. While listening to Li Zhi's words, he was thinking about how to resolve the power of decay in his body. After he got out, Ask someone for help.

But suddenly I heard Li Zhi talking about something that was as straight as humiliation, as cunning as clumsy, and as arrogant as arrogance.

I don't know why, but I suddenly felt a shock in my heart. I felt that the ice somewhere in my body was suddenly shattered by Li Zhi's words.

He was born as a poor hunter and practiced all the way to the Netherworld Realm. He has gone through all the vicissitudes of life. Instead of benefiting from his cultivation, all the past experiences have made his heart dusty and numb.

But Li Zhi's words made his cobweb-covered heart suddenly shake off the dust, and suddenly became alive, as if the fog suddenly dispersed, revealing the sun, moon, mountains and rivers.

An indescribable feeling welled up in my heart.

As soon as this feeling came out, the power of decay in his body immediately began to transform. He didn't do anything in it. He just thought about it and it happened naturally.

After this person found out, he was as shocked as everyone else. Like a spectator, he watched the vitality erupting from his body. His body gradually became younger and full of vitality, and his cultivation began to grow towards the peak of Mingxuan. The only thing was the loss. The longevity cannot be replenished.

"This, this. If a great achievement is lacking, its use will not be harmful; if a great gain is like a rush, its use will be endless. It turns out that people really have innate great fortune in their hearts, and they themselves are already in a state of great success, if it is lacking, and a great gain is like a rush!"

When this person saw his own changes, and then remembered what Li Zhi said before, wouldn't it be exactly the same as the changes in his own body?

"Brother Sun Dao, I hope you can teach me how you did this!"

The people around him who were also Mingxuan saw Sun Linchuan's sudden change, their eyes were extremely eager, and they quickly asked about his method.

"Brother Wu, I."

Sun Linchuan was still in shock. He glanced at Wu Sheng who was sitting next to him, and then he saw the longing and bright eyes that everyone was looking at him.

"I, I. I am. This is!"

He wanted to tell everyone what he felt in his heart, but for some reason, when the words came to his lips, he felt like he didn't know how to express them. This was just a feeling, and with his ability, he couldn't condense it into something. Words, say it with your mouth!

This mysterious and mysterious feeling came out naturally. He didn't need to think about it, he knew it would be like this.

"To be as straight as to be humble, to be as skillful as to be clumsy, to be so argumentative is to be indifferent."

In the end, Sun Linchuan just said these few words.

Everyone raised their eyebrows and were about to ask, and saw Sun Linchuan standing up instantly and bowing respectfully to Li Zhi.

When he bowed down, he had already exerted a lot of energy to go out and surround Li Zhi, preventing him from getting away.

"Today I have to ask the teacher for a sermon. I learned about the innate nature and the great road. It's like opening your eyes to see the heaven and the earth. But before, it was a blind man's darkroom and he was confused. I thank you for your great kindness to the teacher for his guidance and teaching!"

Li Zhi also didn't expect that this person could first enter the Tao and then realize it on the spot!

In one breath, they were far away from Gao Ce and the others.

But enlightenment is like this. If you try hard to find it, you often can't find it. Instead, it happens naturally without any intention.

When others heard Sun Linchuan's words, they realized that the changes in his body actually came from Li Zhi's words.

"How is this possible? Can it be changed just by thinking in the head? Then why do I still need to practice hard?"

Wu Sheng found it difficult to accept this.

When Li Zhi heard what this man said, he thought to himself, "Fortunately, he has not entered Taoism, otherwise he would be in danger of becoming a demon!"

"Brother Sun, please speak more clearly!" Wu Sheng continued to question Sun Linchuan.

Sun Linchuan sighed and suddenly felt a sense of helplessness, "Young brother, it's not because I'm conceited, but the truth is really what the teacher said before. No matter what I say, I can't say anything new!"

"I understand, I understand. Without enlightenment, it is useless to write endless articles. Everyone, forcing this matter will only lead to failure!"

Li Zhi opened his mouth to explain to Sun Linchuan.

Everyone present originally had doubts about Li Zhi's words, but now a living example happened before their eyes, and the power of decline that had troubled everyone before and blocked their future path was turned into a power of vitality.

Turn obstacles into help!

This cannot be staged through collusion.

The facts are in front of them, no matter how outrageous they feel, they can't help but believe it.

So even though Li Zhi had already said that they couldn't look for it by themselves, at the moment, they kept chanting these words in their hearts like being self-hypnotized, being as straight as bending, being as skillful as being clumsy, and being as generous as being clumsy.

This of course has no effect.

"You have now entered the Tao. In the future, you must always be mindful, always pure, and cautious, as if you are walking on thin ice in the abyss. Otherwise, if you make the slightest mistake, you will fall into the devil. By then, you will no longer be you. Your innate true nature will be lost, and so will I. It no longer exists!”

Now that Sun Linchuan has entered Taoism, Li Zhi told him what he needs to pay attention to in the future.

As soon as Li Zhi said this, he immediately reacted, "There are Buddhist temples and immortal tombs in this world, but there is no great way to pass down. Could it be a kind of protection for the creatures in this world? If you don't follow the Tao, it will be difficult to become a demon?

Now, if I preach rashly, wouldn’t I have broken this layer of protection? "

Thinking of this, Li Zhi suddenly felt something in his heart. When he raised his head, he felt that a great cause and effect had been brewing above his head and was about to come to him! (End of chapter)
