Chapter 427 Bi Jue (Part 2)

When Bijue came out of seclusion, he became a disciple of the Buddha on the samsara path, and his dharma name was named Suanni after his original body.

At that time, the Samurai Tao had already completed the eradication of many Zen sects, leaving only three or two big cats and kittens as Taoist traditions.

Zen Lin Temple, for example, is one of the products of that era.

If there is even one venerable person left among them, it is an amazing force.

After Bi Jue came out of seclusion, he felt that he was ashamed of his status as a disciple of the Buddha, so he began to study Buddhism purely.

He believes that if he wants to find his father, he must seek the power of gods and Buddhas.

The golden body is mysterious but powerful, and it is difficult to find out the secret by myself.

Therefore, Bi Jue worshiped the Buddha devoutly for three hundred years and read tens of thousands of scriptures, but he felt that he could not understand the true meaning of them.

It was just that Bijue suddenly felt something foreign in his body. He didn't know it at first. After asking the Red Dragon Dharma King, he realized that this was the bounden duty of a Buddhist disciple.

Give birth to wheel treasure.

Bi Jue would not feel disappointed, after all, she had never thought that she would be the reincarnation of the Wheel King.

But what he didn't expect was that King Vedic Dharma finally stopped holding back and wanted to find Bi Jue to forcefully get the golden body.

That golden body was a gift from his father, and it was also related to Lao Suanni's current whereabouts. Bi Jue would naturally not hand it over.

King Veda did not rob openly, but he had many tricks in private.

Bi Jue took advantage of the night to leave a poem in front of his residence and then left.

The poem says, "There is a mountain, a river, and a pure land. Listen to the wind, the rain, and the sound of Zen. Where are the green mountains without a Taoist temple, and where are the waves without the opportunity for Zen?"

The content said that Bi Jue went out to find a dojo to learn about Zen.

With the help of the golden body's affinity for the void, Bi Jue quickly escaped thousands of miles away.

Even the Vedic Dharma King was unable to find Bijue's whereabouts for a while.

Because Bijue knew that his understanding of Buddhism still needed to be deepened, the place he went to was Shanglin Temple, one of the origins of Zen Buddhism.

There are many eminent monks in Shanglin Temple and the Dharma is strict. Even though Bi Jue is a revered monk, he has no way to sneak in at the moment.

He simply gave up his cultivation and worked as a woodcutter outside Shanglin Temple. He could often listen to the morning bells and evening drums, and eavesdropped on the explanations of the scriptures by the masters in the temple.

Spring passed and autumn came, Master Yuanxu, the founder of Shanglin Temple, was seriously injured in the war with Lun Zhuan Dao.

In addition, it has survived for nearly hundreds of thousands of years, and its lifespan has also come to an end.

Master Yuanxu planted a plum blossom on the ground at random, and said in dialect that if any disciple could understand it and write a Buddhist verse, he would be able to inherit his legacy.

The method revised by Master Yuanxu is rumored to be the "Great Nirvana Sutra" personally transmitted by the Buddha.

As soon as this statement came out, countless disciples immediately flocked to him.

There were even Zen disciples from other places who came here just to get the inheritance from Master Yuanxu.

At that time, the most promising person was the chief disciple of Bodhi Garden in Shanglin Temple, whose name was Hongye.

Even Master Yuanxu said: "There are thirty thousand disciples in Shanglin Temple, but none of them can surpass Hong Ye's insight."

As soon as these words came out, countless disciples were immediately disappointed.

When everyone thought Master Yuanxu's mantle would fall on Hongye, they didn't expect that a mountain woodcutter would appear out of the blue.

On the side of the plum blossom, I mentioned a poem about Buddha.

Master Yuanxu took one look at the verse and was shocked. However, he pretended to be nothing and wiped out the verse written by the woodcutter with his shoe as he passed by, saying that it was very ordinary. .

But in the middle of the night, Master Yuanxu sneaked out of the temple and found the woodcutter.

This woodcutter was Bi Jue. When he went to mention the Buddha's Gate, he just had some insights after seeing so many Buddha's Gate and wrote it down.

But what he didn't expect was that Master Yuanxu was actually interested in what he mentioned.

It's just that although Master Yuanxu said that his end was coming, his cultivation level allowed him to see Bi Jue's inhuman nature at a glance.

The rules in Shanglin Temple were strict, and he could not pass on the mantle to a great demon in a fair and just manner.

And even though Buddhism emphasizes the equality of all living beings, Hongye has been operating in Shanglin Temple for many years and has deep influence and connections.

And he will never let himself succeed.

Coupled with his old age and frailty, Hongye was at the peak of his power and was at his strongest.

Therefore, Master Yuanxu could only resort to this trick and secretly pass on his mantle.

Master Yuanxu taught Bi Jue what he had learned and the "Great Nirvana Sutra".

Although Bi Jue was very surprised, he accepted it calmly.

After all, isn't this what I have been doing here for so many years?

When Bi felt that he had received the complete inheritance of the Mahanirvana Sutra, he finally understood what the golden body his father had left for him was.

It was the remains of a fallen Buddha.

And what he originally practiced was this Mahanirvana Sutra.

Not only that, Master Yuanxu also taught Bi Jue the magic weapon "Nayue Bowl" passed down by the ancestor.

He could see that Bi Jue had understood the subtle power of the Venerable.

But even so, it was still not enough in front of Hongye.

He warned Bi Jue to leave this place as soon as possible, and not to say that he was his descendant until Master Yuanxu passed away.

But he didn't expect that Hongye knew about it at that time.

A moment after Bi Jue left, he stood in front of Master Yuanxu.

Hongye didn't do anything too extreme, and just said to Master Yuanxu: "The poor monk has been the first in Bodhi Garden for a thousand years, but he realized that he has not realized his own nature. If he continues to preach the scriptures indiscriminately, he will mislead the students." , the second is to misinterpret the original meaning of the scripture, which is tantamount to the Buddha's head covered in excrement, a sin!"

After saying that, Hongye was alone and plunged into the endless dark night.

Master Yuanxu understood that although Hongye said well, he was actually going after Bi Jue.

Behind Hongye stood many elders who supported him.

Now that he has not won his own inheritance, it is equivalent to Hongye losing the opportunity to become the orthodox successor of Zen Buddhism.

When the time comes, the elders who have invested in Hongye for many years will probably not give him a good look.

Failure to become an orthodox successor of Zen Buddhism is equivalent to losing the opportunity to become the abbot of Shanglin Temple.

And the many remaining Zen elders in Shanglin Temple would not tolerate an outsider like Bi Jue.

Only by regaining the inheritance can we get down to business.

Bi Jue suddenly felt that someone was chasing him behind him, and he kept running away.

But in the end, it was Hongye who was more skilled and caught him.

But Hongye is not an unreasonable person.

He had been practicing Buddhism intensively for many years, but the sudden appearance of this man inspired his desire to win.

Hongye wanted to see if he was more discerning.

Or the other party’s wisdom is deeper.

So instead of fighting, the two sat down cross-legged on a mountain top and discussed Buddhism.

Hongye has been practicing Buddhism intensively for thousands of years. He believes that all Buddhism requires time to sharpen and encourage practice, and it takes a long time to fully realize it.

But Bi Jue is not like that. He feels that practicing Buddhism requires a moment of enlightenment.

The two argued over this for three months.

In the past three months, there had been a dispute that was almost like spreading the law in Hong Ye, which made Bi Jue feel a lot.

Therefore, Bi Jue also achieved the "sudden enlightenment" he mentioned.

In one day, he integrated the Mahanirvana Sutra passed down to him by Master Yuanxu and incorporated it into his own Dharma.

Seeing this, Hongye also knew that he had failed.

But as the hope of a lineage, as the master, ancestor, and even the ancestor of this lineage, it is the expectation.

He knew that if he went back like this, he would definitely not end up well.

Although his cultivation has reached the peak of the venerable, it is indeed nothing in front of those old immortals.

The best outcome is that he can only be marginalized and become an unknown elder.

Otherwise, what I have learned can only become someone else's wedding dress.

He was forcibly removed from his cultivation and passed on to other disciples.

He also knew that his lineage had been working hard for several generations to seize legitimacy. When his generation had the best chance, failure would be cruel.

Hongye was used to standing in the spotlight, and he couldn't accept his failure.

As a result, Hongye scattered his heart and soul in front of Bi Jue and died on the spot.

After Hong Ye's death, Bi Jue continued to travel around the world.

The Mahanirvana Sutra covers life and death and is the supreme Buddhist scripture.

But Bi Jue relied on the golden body and discovered that between life and death, a weak energy will fall into the void.

Precisely because of this, Bi Jue gradually followed the Qi movement and continued to pursue it.

But what Bi Jue didn't expect was that the golden body seemed to guide him secretly.

Take yourself towards a direction in the void.

Bi Jue was still a little curious at first, thinking that this might have something to do with his father's whereabouts.

But after drifting for more than ten years, he found that he still had not reached his destination, so he gave up.

After that, Bi Jue discovered that Master Yuanxu had died.

And he took away Master Yuanxu's inheritance, which aroused the anger of the Zen sect.

He has become the target of public criticism.

The Mahanirvana Sutra seems to have some kind of energy in his body. After he comes out of the void, no matter where he is, he will be found by those Zen disciples.

Bi Jue had no choice but to kill all the Zen disciples who were looking for trouble.

The matter became more and more serious and even attracted the attention of Vedic Dharma King.

Bi Jue did not hesitate and directly controlled the golden body, injuring Vedic Dharma King in one fell swoop, and then escaped into the void.

The Vedic Dharma King announced to the world that Buddha Suan Ni had betrayed the Samurai Path and would be wanted together with the Zen Sect.

As soon as this announcement came out, Bi Jue suddenly felt that the wheel treasure in his body gradually melted away.

And he gradually breathed a sigh of relief.

After all, this thing is like a time bomb to me, and there is no guarantee that something will happen one day.

Bi Jue, who completely betrayed the wheel of life, began to focus on finding his father's location.

He drifted in the void for many years, following the vague guidance of the golden body and going in one direction.

And as I become more and more profound in the Mahanirvana Sutra.

Bi Jue finally felt as if he had reached the place guided by the golden body.

There is a shrine floating in the void.

He didn't know what was in it, but Xie Que already felt that something was not good.

When Bi Jue walked in, he discovered that there was actually a Buddha statue inside.

The Buddha statue looks weird, with its head wrapped in cloth and only a pair of lavender eyes exposed.

Sitting on it were densely packed purple-shelled beetles.

Even most of its body was completely covered by these insects climbing on it.

Bi Jue discovered that his father had also turned into a beetle, being towered over by the Buddha statue.

A creepy feeling was suddenly awakened in Bi Jue's mind.

He just wanted to escape, but he didn't expect that his body was already controlled by this strange Buddha.

And the golden body he carried was no longer controlled by him, but instead restrained him.

The Buddha did not make any move, but a voice came into his ears: "I didn't expect that after so many years, there are still people practicing my Mahanirvana Sutra."

"It's just a pity that I can't become a Buddha now..."

After he finished speaking, he turned into a purple-shelled beetle after all. Then he couldn't control his body and climbed up the Buddha statue.

From then on, Bi Jue's memory turned into chaos, and it wasn't until an unknown number of years later that a trace of clarity emerged again.

Xie Que also took a deep breath of cold air.

He didn't know why, but the Buddha's eyes always felt familiar.

This must be a Buddha whom I know well.

But he did not expect that the Buddha was obviously corrupted by voidness based on his appearance.

When Bi Jue's memory became clear again.

What comes into view is ruins.

Countless purple flesh and blood fragments were scattered in the dark void, and the original beetle corpses were falling everywhere.

Only Bijue who has practiced the Mahanirvana Sutra.

Relying on the method of nirvana, one can be reborn again.

But even so, his body was contaminated by void.

Then, Bi Jue was taken away by a group of people.

After going through a series of complex rituals, Bi Jue felt that something had been removed from his body.

He also knew that he seemed to be a survivor of a certain catastrophe.

And other living beings, including his own father, died together with the corrupted Buddha.

After that, Bi Jue was absorbed into Chengping Dao.

There are many dojos among them, but there is no worship of gods.

The only person they worship is the founder of the dojo.

As for Cheng Ping Dao, it actually means peace.

The meaning is to balance the two ends of the world and the void.

The task of the Taoist priests in Chengpingdao is to eliminate the monsters infected by the void.

In Chengping Dao, status is determined by the Taoist instrument worn.

The Taoist urns are divided into five categories: white, red, yellow, green and purple.

If you want to improve the Dao Lu, you need to clear out void creatures of different levels.

Bi Jue entered a Taoist temple called Xuantian Pavilion, where the founder Xuan Tianjun also had a strange appearance.

There are not many memories later, most of them are memories of Bi Jue entering the void to search for living beings, drifting in confusion for thousands of years.

Xie Que finally had a systematic understanding of Cheng Ping Dao.

It's just that Bi Jue doesn't have many people in Cheng Ping Dao, and he only knows so much.

But Xie Que was interested.

The many Taoist temples in Chengping Dao are divided into several sects.

One faction is orthodox, saying that void is constantly eroding the world.

One day, the void will swallow up the entire world.

This is the faction to which Bi Jue and his Xuantian Pavilion belong.

As for the other faction, Xie Que was willing to call it the "Advent Sect."

They welcome the coming of the void and are ready to transform into void creatures at any time.

Therefore, in the past tens of thousands of years, there have been many contradictions in Chengping Dao, and there are strong signs of war. (End of chapter)
