Chapter 41 Infection

Bloody Worm transport ship.

A group of Ultramarines are struggling to break out.

As they walked quickly through a corridor corner.

An Ultramarine with broken armor and blood all over his body leaned weakly against the bulkhead, then slowly slid down and fell to the floor.

His comrade-in-arms grabbed his hand and shouted into the communication channel:

"Pharmacist, call the pharmacist, someone is down here!"

However, there was still a lot of noise in the communication channel.

"No..." The Ultramarine lying on the ground grabbed his teammates and said in a weak tone: "It's too late, sir, the transmission has been interrupted. You should leave quickly, it's too late."

His squad leader put the melta gun back on the weapon on his waist and buckled it, before pulling up his comrades on the ground with both hands.

"No..." His teammate threw his hand away, "Don't worry about me, you go quickly and meet Lord Vlahos. I...I still have this."

As he spoke, he took out a round armor-piercing grenade from his waist and held it in his hand.

His squad leader looked at him deeply, gritted his teeth and said fiercely: "Okay."

Then he got up and led the team towards the passage.

After the team members left, the Ultramarine lying on the ground ripped off his helmet and threw it aside, revealing a face covered in blood.

His eyelids drooped and he breathed weakly.

He switched the armor-breaking grenade to his left hand, then quietly hid his left hand behind his waist. With his right hand, he pulled out a bolt pistol from the side of his leg armor and pointed it at the entrance of the passage.

After a while, the waiting enemy did not arrive.

But a sneaky middle-aged man with a brown-red beard emerged from the pipe on the side.

The bolter in the injured Ultramarine's hand was instantly pointed at him.

"Whoa whoa whoa... no, be careful, be careful, sir, don't shoot."

The bearded man who looked like a scholar quickly raised one hand, and tightly hugged a long gray metal can in the other hand, which looked very funny.

"Who are you?" The gun was still pointed at the bearded middle-aged man. The Ultramarine looked at him coldly and asked.

"I am a civilian imprisoned on the spaceship by these demons. I am a civilian. Dear sir, I am here to save you."

Belensky bowed, raised one hand, slowly approached the injured Ultramarine, and spoke carefully.

As he spoke, he carefully raised his head to observe the face of this extreme warrior.

"Save me?" The Ultramarine frowned, pointed his gun at the long metal can in Belensky's arms, and asked:

"what is that?"

"Oh, oh... this, you asked for this, right? This is my unique potion. This is what I will use to save you." Belensky stammered.

In a transport ship of the traitor space warriors, a civilian appeared, holding a strange jar and saying that he wanted to save himself?

The Ultramarine lying on the ground felt that this thing was so weird that it was a bit insulting to his own intelligence.

He raised the muzzle of his gun and said coldly:

"Go away, go back, I don't need you to save me."

Although the whole thing seemed strange, the Ultramarines still did not shoot directly at civilians.

Seeing that his poor acting skills could not deceive the injured Ultramarine, Belensky gritted his teeth, walked forward quickly, and said:

"Sir, please let me..."

"boom!"

The bolt pistol fired.

Belensky was knocked off half his body in an instant.

"Ahhh..." Belensky, who only had his upper body left, screamed.

The moment he was hit, the long metal can in his hand fell out and landed right in front of the Ultramarines.

A drop of black viscous liquid from the mouth of the jar just splashed onto the cracked and bloody breastplate of the Ultramarine.

The Ultramarines ignored the bearded man who was only half-body left and was dying slowly. He lowered his head and looked at the drop of black liquid strangely.

Then, he saw that this drop of viscous black liquid seemed to be alive, and suddenly disappeared into his wound.

wrong!

The Ultramarines realized this too late.

He rolled his eyes, trembled twice, then threw his head back and fainted.

The left hand that was just raised holding the armor-breaking grenade slowly fell down.

The gauntlet was loosened, and the spherical grenade inside rolled out.

It didn't detonate.

In the pipe, a short, rickety woman wrapped in clothes walked out cautiously.

She came to the body of the brown-red bearded scholar, stretched out her hand and slowly closed the man's wide eyes.

"Rest in peace, Belensky." A strange hissing voice whispered.

Then, she walked up to the unconscious Ultramarine, gently touched the Ultramarine's body, and said to herself in a gentle tone:

"Come out, my children."

The unconscious Ultramarine's chest began to bulge strangely, and the bulge undulated slightly, as if he was breathing.

Seeing this scene, the hunchbacked woman became even happier. She smiled, gently stroked the bulge, put her mouth to the bulge, and whispered:

"What a rich hunting ground this is, my children. All the people here are your food. I mean... all."
