Remarks on the launch
At midnight on July 1st, "National Forensic" was released. Google search reading
I can't help but think back, my first book is on the shelves... Recently, I always have a tendency to look back on the past, maybe because I am worried that I will not be able to break through.
Occasionally I read the group, and there are many old readers there. Many of them don’t even read my books very much anymore, but they are still in the strong group, which is really heartwarming and sad.
It is always difficult to break through oneself. As an author, when I decide to write a new book, I can't help but look back at my old books. Many times, it is difficult for me to determine whether what I continue is correct and whether what I break through is correct. Falling behind, the direction in which I am heading, whether there is a path to follow, whether there is a path to open up.
"National Forensic" is inspired by "Crime Scene Investigation", which is the American TV series CSI. It was also a TV series almost 20 years ago. I can’t remember the story in the show now, but I have always been interested in the technology involved in the show.
Criminal investigation themes, or in other words, crime dramas, have always been my interest. I've always wanted to write a detective novel.
But in the past, when people mentioned detective novels, the first thing that came to mind was Sherlock Holmes, Conan, and reasoning...
A detective novel for liberal arts students!
In contrast, TV series such as "CSI" will show more technical things.
This may be due to the difference in expression between film and television and novels.
However, the form of online novels actually has many advantages.
In particular, the technical stream that everyone is familiar with is also the technical stream that I am very good at. It may be more suitable for writing a detective novel for science students.
Let technology speak. Today's criminal investigation model is originally like this.
However, during the writing process of this book, I also encountered many expected and unexpected difficulties. For example, there are all kinds of "can't say", all kinds of confidentiality, etc. When chatting with some policemen, forensic doctors or criminal department people, they will always come to the point of "Ah, I can't write this", or “I can’t say this specifically”…
Even when downloading papers, we often encounter situations where we cannot download or read them.
I think this is one of the reasons that prevents many authors from getting involved in this field.
Of course, the most important thing about novels, I always think, should be interesting.
What’s the value of a novel that doesn’t attract people and arouses the desire to read?
Fortunately, the market can always give great feedback.
In the world of online novels, readers’ evaluations, readers’ subscriptions, readers’ rewards and votes are the largest evaluation system.
I hope it can be recognized by everyone.
Tonight, my value will be determined by you readers.
Please have mercy.
