Chapter 131: Ron's wand

Chapter 131 Ron’s Wand

Because something suddenly happened at the Ministry, neither Chris nor Diana came back at noon. Kyle had lunch at Weasley's house.

Mrs. Weasley, who had not seen Kyle for more than half a month, was very happy and poured seven or eight sausages on his plate and forced him to add three bowls of rice.

After eating, Kyle was too exhausted to move.

“Want to get rid of the goblins together?” After lunch, Fred extended the invitation with a fiery face.

“We are now serious Quidditch beaters, we can definitely beat you.”

"Next time." Kyle shook his head, took out a yellow envelope from his pocket and said, "I'm going to Diagon Alley later to buy things I need for the new semester."

“Oh, by the way, you haven’t bought anything yet!”

Mrs. Weasley, who was busy in the kitchen, also came over at this time and said: "Wait a moment, dear, we can accompany you to Diagon Alley."

 “No need, Mrs. Weasley.”

Kyle said with a smile: "The things that the second grade and the first grade need are actually the same. I just need to buy some parchment paper and ink. I will be back soon."

"But..." Mrs. Weasley seemed hesitant.

"It's okay, Mom," Fred said, "We can go with him."

George also said: "Yes, mom, don't worry."

"Okay then." Mrs. Weasley thought for a while and said nothing more, but she still glanced at the twins and said, "Come back as soon as possible after shopping, and don't take Kyle to those messy places. ."

“We’re not going to those places.”

“To be honest, although you are our mother, you don’t understand us at all.”

 …

While the twins were talking to Mrs. Weasley, Kyle suddenly noticed Ron sitting beside him... and the wand he had been holding in his hand.

He had seen this wand at Charlie's last semester. It was so badly worn that even the unicorn hair was exposed.

Kyle suddenly remembered something, raised his head and said: "Mrs. Weasley, you have misunderstood Fred and George."

After hearing Kyle's words, the twins nodded immediately and silently gave a thumbs up with their hands behind their backs.

But Kyle continued as if he didn't see their actions: "They went to Diagon Alley with me because they actually wanted to buy Ron a new wand."

 “Hmm…huh?”

Fred and George suddenly froze in the middle of nodding, turned around and looked at Kyle in disbelief.

Similarly in disbelief, there was Ron on the side.

Merlin, Fred and George... want to buy him a new wand?

Ron couldn't believe what he heard, but then, he felt a burst of ecstasy in his heart.

He wanted a new wand so much that in the past few days, he had been dreaming about choosing a wand at Ollivanders.

There was no way. Although the family had money, Mrs. Weasley refused his request to buy a wand on the grounds that the galleons were twins and she was just keeping them for safekeeping.

did not expect…

Ron's eyes were red and he looked at his two brothers with a moved face, as if he would cry in the next second.

Fred and George haven't reacted yet, and their expressions look a little dull.

When did they say they were going to buy Ron a new wand? Isn't this a waste of galleons? He was only in first year, so he could make do with Charlie's old wand.

However out of trust in Kyle, the twins hesitated for a moment and did not refute.

 “Yes...yes, mother.”

Fred gritted his molars and said, "We do want to buy Ron a new wand."

George took a deep breath and forced a dry smile. "We were just afraid that you would object, so we didn't say anything."

“My dear, how could I object?”

Mrs. Weasley's eyes were also a little moist. She stepped forward and hugged Fred and George tenderly. "I'm glad you think so. George is right, I don't know you very well."

“I’m Fred, mom.” George blushed and said a little shyly: “You have mistaken us again.”

"I'm sorry, Fred, dear." Mrs. Weasley let go of them and said with a smile, "By the way, please wait a moment."

As she said that, she walked upstairs.

Taking this moment, the twins immediately looked at Kyle, their eyes full of doubts.

Kyle calmly shook his head, signaling for them to calm down.

Soon, Mrs. Weasley came back with a bag in her hand.

 “This is your Galleons.”

She handed the bag to George who was nearest and said: "I was always worried that you were still young and would spend money randomly after suddenly having so many galleons, but now it seems that you have indeed grown up.

Take it, you can't buy a wand without it. "

George couldn’t wait to open the bag. There were almost thirty golden galleons inside.

There was a flash of disappointment in the twins' eyes.

They thought all the galleons were in it, but they didn't expect there were only thirty.

Mrs. Weasley guessed his thoughts at a glance, and said with a straight face again: "What, too little? Then forget it."

After saying that, she made a gesture to take out the bag.

George took a step back, shook his head repeatedly and said, "Of course not, Mom, how could we be too little?"

As if he was afraid that Mrs. Weasley would regret it, George walked straight to the fireplace, holding the bag in one hand and grabbing a handful of Floo powder in the other.

“It’s too late, we have to go.”

After saying that, he threw the floo powder into the fireplace and walked in without looking back.

 “Diagon Alley!”

In just the blink of an eye, George was gone.

Fred and Kyle saw this and immediately followed.

 …

When Kyle opened his eyes again, he was already in front of the fireplace in the Leaky Cauldron.

Fred and George sandwiched him on the left and right, speaking quickly:

“When did we say we were going to buy Ron a wand!”

 “We need an explanation, Kyle.”

A wand cost seven Galleons, which was enough for them to make a hundred Fat Tongue Toffees.

“Don’t get excited, aren’t you curious? Why is Ollivander’s store so dirty…”

Kyle leaned into their ears and muttered something.

After listening, the twins' eyes gradually became interested, but still a little confused.

Fred said hesitantly: "A wand costs seven Galleons... Isn't this too wasteful?"

"It doesn't matter, I'll pay for the money." Kyle said with a smile: "Just think of it as an admission gift to Ron..."

"flutter…"

Just as he was talking, a round figure rolled out of the fireplace.

Ron didn't bother to dust himself off. He immediately stood up and looked around, looking for something around him.

Until he saw Kyle and the twins not far away, he breathed a sigh of relief and ran over happily.
