Chapter 252: Disappeared Harry

Chapter 252 The Disappearance of Harry

Ever since Fred gave Ron the magic wand last time, they had been waiting to see what effect it would have.

But until a week passed, Ron didn't notice this... In other words, he didn't use the wand for a week.

This was a huge disappointment to Fred and George.

“It seems we have a very obedient brother.”

One night, Fred said with some helplessness: "He really remembered the rule that students cannot use magic outside of school, and has been strictly abiding by it..."

St. Catchpole Village is a large village with a lot of wizards living here. As long as it is not discovered by Muggles, the Ministry of Magic will not care about the magical reactions here at all.

So the injunction before the holiday is basically equivalent to a piece of waste paper here.

Not to mention Kyle and the twins, even Cedric and Percy would often practice spells in their room.

At this point, Ron seems particularly well-behaved.

Because of this, Fred and George's plan to test the magic wand is unlikely to succeed in the short term.

George sighed and said: "It would be great if he could obey the rules like this in school."

“Maybe Gryffindor can win the Academy Cup because of this.”

Fred spread his hands and then looked at Kyle:

“By the way, Kyle, we are going to Diagon Alley to go shopping tomorrow, do you want to come with us?”

“Then let’s go together.” Kyle asked, “When will we set off tomorrow?”

"Morning."

George said, "We have to buy a lot of books, and Ginny also needs to prepare things for school. She must go early."

After agreeing on a departure time for tomorrow, Fred and George left.

Kyle returned to the room and wanted to read for a while, but he didn't know whether it was because of excitement or something else. He couldn't read a word of the content in those books.

There was no other way, so Kyle could only turn off the light and lie down on the bed early.

 …

After what seemed like a long time, it finally dawned.

After getting up, Kyle ate a few bites of bread and headed to the Burrow.

The Weasleys were having breakfast. Although Kyle repeatedly stated that he had already eaten breakfast, Mrs. Weasley still gave him several bacon sandwiches.

  Ginny gave him a seat.

After Kyle sat down, Mr. Weasley, who was eating, looked up and asked, "Has your father gone to the ministry already?"

Kyle nodded, "He received a letter half an hour ago and hurried to the Ministry of Magic."

"It must be those guys..." Mr. Weasley muttered: "They were dissatisfied with the new Muggle Protection Act, so they threw the dark magic items at home into places where Muggles were present.

I think they probably think they are very smart. They have solved the trouble and can still cause us some trouble in this way. "

"But they did succeed." Kyle shrugged.

Recently, the Daily Prophet has been reporting every day that Muggles are affected by dark magic, and the number is increasing. The Ministry of Magic's Incident Reversal Team is almost going crazy.

And not only that, even the animals are not immune. Whether they are domestic animals or insects, they will become very irritable and extremely aggressive after coming into contact with those discarded black magic items.

Some people even found purple ants as big as a palm...

This is why Chris rushed to the Ministry of Magic early in the morning.

“It was only a temporary success.” Mr. Weasley took a bite of the sandwich and smiled: “Skrimgeour has already led the Aurors to investigate the matter, and now no one dares to throw those dark magic items away.

They are a bunch of smart guys, sooner or later I will be able to catch their evidence..." "Come on, Dad!" Fred and George said excitedly.

"Be quiet." Mrs. Weasley slapped the twins and warned: "Be careful, Arthur, those people are not easy to mess with. Don't forget that you have been stopped from investigation."

"It's only temporary, Molly." Mr. Weasley said: "The suspension of the investigation order is only for three days. Kingsley told me that there have been a lot of people in Knockturn Alley recently. They must be scared and want to take action on themselves in a hurry. Dark magic item in hand."

"But Mr. Weasley, why don't those people put the stuff in Gringotts?"

Kyle asked with some confusion: "The Ministry of Magic has no way of checking the vault. It should be safe inside."

"I don't know..." Mr. Weasley thought for a while and said, "Maybe they don't want those cursed things to contaminate their gold coins..."

After breakfast, Mrs. Weasley picked up a flower pot from the kitchen mantel, turned to everyone and said, "Okay, guests come first, Harry, you come first!"

She brought the flower pot to Harry.

"I...what should I do?" Harry was stunned for a moment and asked stammeringly.

"Mrs. Weasley, Harry probably hasn't used Floo powder yet." Kyle stepped forward, "I'd better do it first, so I can show him what to do."

"I've never used Floo powder..." Mrs. Weasley frowned, as if she felt a little weird.

Harry glanced at Kyle gratefully and nodded repeatedly.

"Okay then..." Mrs. Weasley brought the flower pot to Kyle.

Kyle pinched a handful of sparkling powder from it, threw it into the fire of the fireplace, then walked straight in and shouted: "Diagon Alley!"

In the blink of an eye, Kyle appeared in the Leaky Cauldron.

Perhaps it’s because school is about to start, so the place is much busier than usual, and the few shabby tables are filled with wizards who are drinking.

If you come late, you can only stand by with a glass of wine.

After a while, Fred and George came, and then Mr. Weasley...

As soon as he came out of the fireplace, he looked around nervously.

“Merlin’s beard…Kyle, have you seen Harry Potter?”

"No." Kyle shook his head, "Has he been here already?"

"He entered the fireplace before me." Mr. Weasley's voice trembled a little, "Oh my god, we lost Harry Potter..."

Afterwards, Percy, Ron, Ginny and Mrs. Weasley also arrived.

After learning that Harry did not appear at the Leaky Cauldron, Mrs. Weasley's face immediately lost all color and she almost fell to the ground.

Fortunately, Fred had quick eyesight and quick hands, and helped her from behind.

"Arthur..." She clutched her chest and sobbed: "Harry is lost...how should we explain to his aunt and uncle!"

"Don't worry, Mrs. Weasley, Potter will be fine." Kyle comforted: "He probably went to the wrong furnace door. Maybe we can go to Knockturn Alley and have a look. I remember there should be a furnace door there too. ."

"Yes... you are right, that should be the case."

Mrs. Weasley seemed to be grasping at straws, "Where is the furnace door in Knockturn Alley... Damn it, why don't I remember!"

 “Relax...Molly, don’t be nervous.”

Mr. Weasley held her hand tightly and comforted: "I remember Kingsley told me before, when they went to Knockturn Alley to search... Oh, I remembered, it was Borgin Bock!"

“That infamous dark magic item shop?!” Mrs. Weasley’s face turned even more ugly.

She ran towards the backyard of the Leaky Cauldron quickly: "Quick...Arthur, we have to get there quickly..."

Mr. Weasley saw this and hurriedly followed.
