Chapter 505: conflict

Chapter 505 Conflict

All morning, Kyle and Connor stayed in the cabin.

At noon, Hagrid invited them to have lunch together.

“Steak smorgasbord,” he said. “You can’t imagine how delicious it is.”

Kanna was a little curious at first, thinking it was some novel dish and wanted to try it...until she saw Hagrid throw an unknown big paw into the pot.

She then made a quick decision... to return to the castle.

The same goes for Kyle, because in Hagrid's so-called steak smorgasbord, there is only a small piece of steak as big as a palm, and the rest is a mess.

Hodgepodge is fine, but steak is purely about participation.

After making the decision, the two quickly stood up and left the hut regardless of Hagrid's attempts to stay.

And they are extremely glad that they made this decision.

Probably to celebrate the birth of a warrior, today’s lunch includes brand-new dishes that have never appeared before, French classic red wine braised beef, crispy onion soup, and an unnamed crispy roll...I think it should be German. The special food in Armstrong tastes pretty good.

“Luckily we’re back.” Connor served herself a bowl of onion soup. “I can’t believe what the steak tastes like when stewed with those big claws.”

“It’s really hard to imagine,” Kyle said with a smile.

In addition to aesthetics, they and Hagrid also have huge differences in the definition of delicious.

But there is a downside to returning to the castle, that is, Kyle has to face those enthusiastic classmates, but to be honest, they are a bit too enthusiastic.

Just after eating a meal, there was a stack of thick books next to Kyle.

Everyone borrowed these from the library, saying they might be helpful for the Triwizard Tournament, but Kyle flipped through them and found that he had read more than half of them.

And this happened every day for the next few days, with Kyle having to spend part of his time rejecting the offers... oh, and the signatures.

Kyle never imagined that people at Hogwarts would actually start asking for his autograph, just like they were asking for Krum.

This is also the first time Kyle knows how famous the Triwizard Tournament warriors are. You must know that when he became the youngest member of Sir Merlin, no one came to him to ask for his autograph.

In addition, students from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang will also have classes with everyone during normal times.

But almost all of them are students in the sixth or seventh grade, and there is no one in the fifth grade.

The most popular among them is probably Krum. Whether he is attending class or appearing in the castle for other things, he is always surrounded by a large group of people.

Among these people, Malfoy appears the most. After being quiet for two months, he finally returned to his previous arrogant self last week.

And he started causing trouble for Harry and Ron again... especially Ron.

Whether they met in class or occasionally in the castle, Malfoy would always make sarcastic remarks to Ron. This was the first time that he enjoyed the treatment that Harry had.

Ron was so angry that he wanted to fight with Malfoy several times, but he held it back under the persuasion of others.

This situation lasted for a week, until noon on Wednesday, when Ron went to the Great Hall to eat, he happened to hear Malfoy slandering him in front of Krum.

“There’s something wrong with that redhead’s head.” Malfoy said loudly and deliberately: “He likes to fawn over all famous people, starting with Potter... that fool with the scar on his head.

Probably he thought that being with Potter would allow him to move out of that… tentatively considered a house. The funny thing is that he has not been able to do so until now.

Victor, you must be careful and don’t get entangled with him, that follower..."

 “Malfoy!”

Ron angrily pushed through the crowd and came over, "Don't you dare say it again."

"Oh, who am I?" Malfoy raised his head and said sarcastically: "Aren't you going to fawn over Scar-headed Potter? Maybe he can give you some decent clothes."

"Get out of here, Malfoy," Harry said, and he and Hermione were tugging at Ron's robes to prevent him from lunging at Malfoy.

 “Don’t be angry, Ron.”

"He just wants you to make the first move, so that Professor Snape will have reason to punish you." Hermione tried to persuade her. "I don't care..." Ron twisted angrily, "I will tear his mouth apart today!"

"It's scary." Malfoy continued to sneer, "And your father, that old Weasley, his shabby appearance is really embarrassing for the Ministry of Magic..."

Ron struggled harder.

“Ha, yes, your family is quite decently dressed.”

At this time, Fred and George squeezed into the crowd from the other side. Instead of being as excited as Ron, they looked very happy.

“George, do you remember the photo in the Daily Prophet that day?”

"Of course, Fred, the well-dressed Mr. Malfoy is very impressive." George said with a smile.

Then he cleared his throat, made dancing gestures, and imitated what was in the newspaper and said:

"I don't know...Mr. Minister, they threatened me to do this, I am innocent..."

These were the words Malfoy defended himself when he was tried, and were published in the newspapers together with the photos.

As for Fred, he was wiping his tears with an exaggerated gesture... He was imitating Narcissa Malfoy in the photo.

The two were singing in harmony, as if they were performing a stage play, perfectly replicating the content in the photo and making many people laugh.

"How dare you...!" Malfoy's pale face turned slightly red, and he pulled out his wand and pointed it at them, "I will make you pay the price!"

"Okay, come on!" Fred said calmly, and also took out his wand, "If you have the guts, do it, and then just like old Malfoy, say that you are innocent, your family is the best at it. Isn’t that what it is?”

Malfoy looked into Fred's eyes, his chest heaving violently. The next second, the two of them took action almost at the same time.

“Fight your front teeth against a big stick!”

 “Armor for protection!”

A beam of light flew towards Fred quickly, but bounced back at an even faster speed.

Malfoy flew backwards. It could be clearly seen that his front teeth were growing at an alarming rate, extending past his lips towards his chin.

“What’s the fuss going on here?” said a soft voice.

Snape came. He looked at Malfoy who was lying on the ground like a groundhog. He was about to speak...

"Professor, you're here just in time, come and take a look... I was really scared to death just now." Fred took the lead and said in a long voice, "I was practicing the Iron Armor Charm just now, and Malfoy suddenly collapsed. What's going on?"

“Practice the Iron Armor Charm?” Snape narrowed his eyes.

"Yeah," George said, "We like this spell very much, so we practice it often."

 “That’s right!” came another voice.

With a thumping sound, Professor Moody walked over on his wooden prosthetic legs. His blue magic eye stared at Snape, and then looked at Malfoy, who had just gotten up from the ground.

"It seems that he was hit by his own curse." Professor Moody said gruffly: "It's really interesting... using curses on your classmates in public, Snape, how do you usually deal with this kind of thing? ."

Malfoy seemed to be frightened and did not dare to say a word.

 Snape's face turned ugly.

"Ten points from Slytherin and solitary confinement for Malfoy." He said coldly, grabbed Malfoy's robes and dragged him away without explanation.

"oh!"

 “Praise the professor!”

Fred and George high-fived each other as if celebrating their victory.
