Chapter 295: last case

The Joker has his own set of ideas. He likes chaos and believes that this is the key to building a fair and just society.

He doesn't think what he's doing is a completely chaotic act of madness, but rather like those superheroes making some changes for this absurd and unruly world.

This set of fallacies and heresies sounds plausible, and Harvey, the two-faced man, was persuaded by his ideas.

Eric was worried that the inexperienced raven would be affected by the clown's crooked reasoning, so he shouted to stop him.

"Why stop me? Bat, because what I said was too righteous, so it stimulated your sensitive heart? Haha, then I have to express my honor."

The clown was very dissatisfied with being interrupted by Eric, and the corner of his mouth opened wider and asked Eric.

"You think you're right?"

Eric stopped the horse he was leading and asked the clown.

He's determined to take on the most controversial villain in the DC universe.

"Haha, look, little Batgirl, Bat is serious. He may want to give a show with me as a debater on both sides. Then you have to watch this show carefully."

The clown's face was covered with a smile, and he said to Eric: "Unfortunate and oppression will come to everyone, no matter how kind that person is, and when misfortune comes, people can do nothing but fall."

The Joker's eyes stared like copper bells, and his scarlet lips grinned even further up, "Like that dead Batman, do you know why he's crazy?"

"go Ape?"

Raven didn't understand what the Joker meant by crazy.

He knows the world has Batman, and like Eric is the leader of a group of superheroes.

But she didn't quite understand why the Joker would call Batman crazy.

"Yes, he opened the door and chose to believe in human nature. Isn't that crazy?! Oh, my poor little bat, I'll tell him to die as a bat! Now you are an apocalyptic bat, I'm so lucky, no matter what Bats accompany you everywhere."

The Joker has long known that Eric is not the Batman of this world, and he gave Eric the nickname of Batman of the end of the world.

"That was the last case, and I have to say, my level of involvement was a bit high."

The clown licked his lips and told a secret story.

It was a story that happened before the world was destroyed.

......

"Approaching the final destination, Alfred!"

Batman drives the Batmobile through the streets of Gotham City.

It was late at night, and there was light rain up and down the street, washing away all the filth.

The headlights of the Batmobile pierced the darkness of the night, but did not penetrate very far.

"I'm listening, and the sensors show nothing moving and no heat signature detected, sir."

Alfred replied to Batman.

"clear!"

Batman nodded and turned the Batmobile onto another street.

He has been investigating the case almost all year.

From the start, however, the case didn't feel right.

Most disturbingly, the complete absence of swaggering villains, no corpses, no real victims, doesn't make him too alarmed at all, yet...

The clown said this, and suddenly turned his eyes to Ai Rui, "Let me tell you a secret of the 'dead bat', do you know where his vigilance came from?"

Before Eric could answer, the clown took the initiative to reveal the mystery for Eric, "From his scars, those are like an alarm system engraved into his body, those scars, those puffiness, I often feel self-conscious about those scars. Blame! Oh, poor little bat!"

The clown let out a pretentious sigh.

After the lament, the story is continued.

As Batman rushed to the scene, he reviewed the archives.

Every morning for the past 365 days, someone has chalked down a different, arbitrary five-foot line in Gotham City.

But it was wiped the next day, and that's all there is to the whole mystery, that's all.

But when he used satellites to aggregate these chalk lines and combine them into one picture, he saw...

The chalk outline is him, dead Batman!

Also, according to the dimensions of the silhouette, Batman's heart stopped beating right where his parents died - Crime Alley!

"I'm here! Alfred!"

Batman got out of the car.

The location is crime alley.

"I said it again, sir, the sensor has nothing."

"No, there are other people here!"

Batman stood at the entrance of the dark alley, staring silently inside.

Rain drips on his helmet, running down the uneven gaps.

"Transmitting images to you, Alfred."

"Vision is building."

As Batman's voice fell, the visual picture Batman saw was transmitted into the Batcave.

Alfred in front of the screen clearly saw the scene in the alley.

"Oh no!"

Alfred cried out in surprise.

In the depths of the crime alley, under a dimmed street lamp, there is a huddled shadow.

He huddled there, holding an umbrella.

Da da da!

Batman walked towards the shadow.

"Hello, child, are you hurt?"

He stood in front of the shadow and asked aloud.

"Master, be careful, something is not right..."

"I know, Alfred."

Batman turned back to the butler and continued to ask Sombra, "Son, let me take a look at you, okay?"

He greeted the dark shadow of this small body.

"Just want to make sure you're safe and sound, don't be afraid, I'm here to help you."

The figure curled up under the dimmed street lamp holding an umbrella still did not answer.

In the entire alley, there was only the sound of patting on the umbrellas.

Batman waited a moment, then stepped forward to reveal the umbrella.

What was under the umbrella surprised him!

"Oh my God!"

Even Batman, who is used to seeing big storms, couldn't help but make a surprised voice when faced with such a scene.

That's the body of a little boy!

The corpse is already in a state of severe decay Those godless eyes that are beginning to rot are turned outwards, as if they are accusing something. The smell of rotting has disappeared due to the scouring of the rain, perhaps some antiseptic treatment has been done.

Alfred also saw the corpse, and he said to Batman over the radio in a short voice: "Master, I think you should leave quickly!"

Batman didn't seem to have any plans to leave, he simply checked the corpse.

"Inform Jim, Alfred, the victim is about ten years old, maybe eleven years old, and the body is badly decomposed!"

Facing the highly decomposed corpse, he calmly carried out detection and inspection.

The little boy's body sitting on the ground was gently pushed forward, and he found that there was some kind of support against his back.

"He maintains a certain posture because it is made of some kind of support, some kind of mechanical..."
