Final words
Let me start by saying that the next book will definitely be original.
In fact, when "The End of the World" was finished, I planned to write an original one. During that time, the themes of Hong Kong variety shows were very popular. I browsed through them and found that most of them were police and criminal themes, with few supernatural and fairy tales. Moreover, the writing style is relatively serious and lacks joyful works.
I watch a lot of Hong Kong movies, but because of my personal preference, I mainly have a glassy heart and will be depressed for a long time when I am stimulated, so I haven’t done much research on police movies where teammates are sacrificed at every turn.
Unfortunately, it is finalized and cannot be changed.
Movies that are happy at the beginning, happy in the middle, and happy at the end are my favorites. I enjoy watching a lot of classics over and over again and know a lot of lines by heart.
There was a vacancy in the market, and it was just right for me. I patted my forehead and put my hands on the keyboard.
The grades are neither good nor bad.
Let’s just say it’s okay, its influence is average and its reputation is mediocre.
You can say no, the first order was over 10,000, and the average order was over 10,000. When I finished the book, the order was 14,000, which is more than 300 short of 15,000 (whisper, I hope someone can re-order to support me).
For a novel of 2 million words, I personally feel that this score is qualified.
Some readers said that this book is short, and 2 million words is just a passing mark for an online article. Indeed, they are right, but when I first started writing, my estimate was 2 million, and I did not plan to write it too long.
The Hong Kong variety show itself determines the length. Coupled with the subject matter and the main direction I choose, there is no possibility of writing a long story.
As for the animation plots such as Conan and Maoyan that appear in the book, when I was first making the outline, I found that many Hong Kong movies have neon elements, which I can’t avoid and it’s boring to write them down. Without affecting the world view, I also found that Adding some plot would make it more interesting.
Secondly, I had considered writing a Conan fanfic before, but I decided not to do so, so I added it to this book to make up for the regret.
If I really want to say there is any shortcoming in this book, it is probably the inability to update it. It has 2 million words. 1.1 million words were written in the first four months, and only 900,000 words were written in the next six months.
According to the amount of updates in "The End of the World", this book should have been completed at the end of April or early May, but it ended in early August.
There are various reasons.
There are physical reasons. In the past two years, I stayed up late and felt so energetic that I felt energetic every day. Now I have to slow down at every turn and feel uncomfortable whenever I touch the keyboard.
Let’s not talk about private matters, that’s the end of it.
In terms of writing, I deliberately avoided the previous book in terms of character design, and I didn’t dare to start writing, so the more I wrote, the more uncomfortable I became.
When reading a book, especially when following the same author, many readers will subconsciously assume the role of the protagonist of the previous book, and can't help but leave comments like "That's it?" and "Is XXX you?"
To be honest, these comments hurt the author.
I'm a shy person, and I'm particularly afraid of seeing this kind of comments, so I've kept Russell's various charades in the previous book away from them in this one.
Just kidding, this is actually a necessity of writing. After authors establish a successful character, they will basically choose to avoid it in the next book.
But then again, after millions of words, a habit becomes natural. How can it be changed by just changing it? Often as I write, characters from the previous book emerge, and sometimes the protagonist’s name is written incorrectly.
It's very uncomfortable.
There are those who successfully avoid the previous persona, and there are those who will naturally fail, and most authors will fail.
Without him, the author himself determines the upper limit of the protagonist under the keyboard. An indifferent author cannot write a passionate and passionate protagonist. Similarly, a sandbox author can only write sandbox protagonists.
Uh, something seems wrong, but that's the general meaning. You just need to understand.
As a result, most authors fail to re-establish their characters and simply give up the struggle. Basically, the protagonists in the books all have the same template, at least in terms of personality.
This template is so familiar and I can write smoothly. My thoughts come to me as soon as I touch the keyboard.
Then readers can't help but leave comments like "XXX Three Generations" and "This plot looks so familiar." The author is hit hard again and touches the keyboard sadly. He doesn't want to, and he also struggles...
I didn’t give in until I struggled.
I'm still struggling, and I may give up one day.
Then there is the contradiction between the characters and the plot. The character design of "The End of the World" is very successful. Even if I try my best to avoid it, the plot is serving the character.
In an excellent novel, the characters and the plot should complement each other, without focusing on any one, let alone who serves whom.
It’s difficult. Three books, 8.2 million words, and I’m still figuring it out.
Maybe this is also related to my personality. An excellent plot should have both sadness and joy, creating a contrast between the ups and downs, but I only think about happiness, and it is difficult to have shocking passages...
Thinking about it this way, it’s even harder.
The above is purely a personal opinion. Although I am not a good writer, I read a lot of books. As I read them, I summarized some simple opinions on writing. Now I will throw them out for everyone to enjoy.
If you think something is wrong, tell me and I won't change it.
Let’s get back to the subject. I have written three Infinite Flow books, and if I am asked to write Infinite Flow again, I really can’t write anymore, so the new book must be original.
As I said about the new book, readers who know me all know that the title of the book has not yet been decided, there is no idea at all, the outline has not been written, the details are not detailed, and I don’t know the name of the protagonist.
To sum up, the progress is gratifying, and it is a rare masterpiece at first glance.
At the end of the day, there is another embarrassing thing. I owe a lot of alliance leaders for updates.
The list is as follows:
SSR does not exist, a lonely dog, Lantong 00, Cz丶, I have gone crazy and the nickname already exists, the mysterious moonlit night, a lonely dog, I really can’t read anymore, Da Zi Zai Feng , 蓓蓓蓓, I have gone crazy and the nickname already exists, I really can’t read anymore, P0cKy, I’d better come over and read the original version, reader 1355715856582582272, The Moon Sees Black, Burning Passing Wind, Only My Brother Tao.
Listed in order of reward, there are many familiar names and some new ones. It’s not surprising that there are duplicate names. I owe them more than once.
I also owed a lot when I finished the last book. I was really embarrassed and made up for it in the form of an extra chapter.
For this book, with my current update volume, I can’t write additional chapters...
I'm too thin-skinned to beg for forgiveness, so when I give a reward to my next book, I should think carefully about it. I have a criminal record, so I won't reward it if I can. If it's cheaper, I might as well give it to a more reliable author.
Moreover, the next book is an original work, and the difficulty of writing is not the same as that of Infinite Flow's secondary creation. Even if I take good care of myself, the number of updates cannot be greater than when I wrote "The End of the World". There is really a leader who rewards me. Another pile of debt.
I have already thought about it. In order to ensure the quality of updates, there will be no additional updates for the leader in the next volume.
So, be careful! ! !
My heart hurts when I say this. I actually have trouble with money. But if I don't have trouble with money, then I have trouble with you.
After thinking about it, I still have trouble with money!
Finally, as usual, I sacrificed a group of colleagues to protect me from being thrown into the street next time.

As you can see, there are only a few copies, not many.
They are listed in no particular order, in the order in which the big guys knocked on my door.
Phoenix mocks Phoenix: (ノへ ̄、)
As soon as the big bosses heard that I had finished the book, they all came over to criticize me, saying that I had only finished the book now, which delayed their push for chapters. It's just a small thing to delay the appointment. No one expects me to have a mosquito-legged appointment. The key is that my attitude is very problematic, not correct enough, let alone positive.
What the big guys said was reasonable, but I was so ashamed that I burst into tears on the spot. I just wished I didn't delay it for another two months and vent their anger to death.
I won’t say any more, let’s just leave it at that. As a final review, this article has no self-consciousness and is a bit long...
See you in the next one!
