Chapter 33.1
After hearing what the teacher said, Si Tian was slightly taken aback: “Okay, thank you, Teacher.”
She felt a little subtle, as if a child got into trouble at school and was called a parent.
Si Tian was worried that the matter in the kindergarten would not be resolved so quickly, so she called the housekeeper and asked him to pick up Ji Ningyi. If she was late, Ji Ningyi would be too lonely waiting at school.
After making the phone call, Si Tian walked into the kindergarten and went to the primary teacher’s office.
The classroom of a small class is on the first floor, so when Si Tian approached, she saw the two children standing inside through the window.
Ji Zhile was a little shorter than the boy next to him. He stood stubbornly with his fists clenched. Although he was a little blocked by the tree and she could not see his expression clearly, she could guess what he looked like at the moment.
Si Tian quickened her pace, and as she got closer to the office, she heard the voice of the teacher inside, persuading him: “Ji Zhile, Yu Zihang didn’t do it on purpose, can you forgive him? The teacher usually said that students would have conflicts at school, so be generous.”
The boy named Yu Zihang said: “That’s right, I am willing to compensate you, don’t be so stingy.”
Si Tian stepped into the office and heard Ji Zhile’s voice, with a nasal voice and a very stubborn voice: “I don’t want yours, I want mine!”
“Ji Zhile.” Si Tian said.
Ji Zhile raised his head and Si Tian finally saw his appearance clearly. His clothes were a little dirty, as if he had fallen down. There were tears in his eyes, but he bit his lips tightly and refused to let them fall. His slightly curly hair was also a little messy. Two small hands pinched the hem of his clothes and clenched them tightly into small fists. This stubborn look was very different from the one who likes to act like a baby and can cry at home.
Hearing her voice, Ji Zhile raised his head. The moment he saw her, tears flowed down his face, as if he was bullied outside and dared not to cry in order to pretend to be strong, and finally found a backer before he dared to expose his real emotions.
Ji Zhile ran towards her, hugged her thigh, and said with a sobbing voice, “Mom.”
Si Tian seemed to be poked by something. She bent down, hugged Ji Zhile’s small body, and wiped away his tears: “What’s wrong?”
Ji Zhile burst into tears and complained: “I, my things were, he ate them.”
Another boy in the office hurriedly said, “I didn’t do it on purpose, I apologize to you.”
Ji Zhile shook his head and hugged Si Tian even tighter: “No, it’s not.”
Si Tian’s heart was sour and soft. She was a little helpless for a while and did not know how to coax him well. It turned out that when Ji Zhile cried, he ran away and cried alone. Si Tian did not know that he made people so soft when he cried.
Teacher Wang said: “Ji Zhile’s mother, let me tell you what I learned. Our class exchanged stickers for prizes today. Ji Zhile is the child with the most stickers in the class, so he was exchanged for the snack gift box with the highest points. But other students accidentally dropped it on the ground while sweeping the floor. Yu Zihang also exchanged snacks today, but took the wrong one. When school was over in the afternoon, Ji Zhile found that his snacks were missing and came to tell me. I investigated the class and learned that Yu Zihang had accidentally eaten them. Now, Yu Zihang is willing to pay Ji Zhile with his snacks, but Ji Zhile is not willing. The two children had a little dispute and Yu Zihang accidentally pushed Ji Zhile away. After a while, Ji Zhile also pushed back and the two children fell down.”
Si Tian asked Ji Zhile: “Is that so?”
Ji Zhile nodded and then shook his head: “He didn’t accidentally eat my snacks on purpose.”
Yu Zihang said: “I’m not, your snack fell on the ground, I thought it was mine, so I ate it.”
Ji Zhile wiped away tears. His words were clear and logical: “Our snacks are different, so you won’t admit your mistake!”
“I didn’t mean it, Ji Zhile slandered me!” Yu Zihang also yelled, and just as he was talking, another woman in formal attire also stepped into the office: “Teacher, what happened?”
Yu Zihang ran towards the woman: “Mom!”
Pointing at Ji Zhile, he said, “He slandered me!”
Ji Zhile shook his head and grabbed Si Tian’s hand. Although his eyes were still red, he was not afraid at all after having a backer: “I didn’t, you did it on purpose! Only I exchanged for a gift box of snacks, yours is different from mine!”
Yu Zihang said: “I didn’t pay attention when I was eating.”
Seeing that the two children were about to quarrel again, the parents of both sides stopped them in time.
“Listen to the teacher.”
Teacher Wang could only tell the story again.
After listening, Yu Zihang’s mother frowned and accused her child: “Have you apologized for eating the wrong food?”
Yu Zihang said: “I said I’m sorry, I didn’t mean it.”
Yu Zihang’s mother immediately spoke at length: “Then others are not willing to forgive you now, see what you do. Even if you don’t mean it, but you did something wrong, don’t think that everyone outside is your good friend, will reason with you, will forgive you because you apologize. Mother told you at home, to be serious in school, be friendly with classmates, everyone is different, you have conflicts with others, and it is difficult for your mother to deal with it.”
Yu Zihang said aggrievedly: “I would give him my own snacks instead, but he doesn’t want to.”
Yu Zihang’s mother said: “Whether you are willing or not is someone else’s business. It would be wrong for you to do it first. Originally, you accidentally ate something wrong, apologized, and paid for it. That’s how it ended, but you pushed someone. Reasonable things have become unreasonable. If the teacher doesn’t criticize who you criticize, who will others turn to if they don’t ask you?”
