Chapter 772 - There is No Use in Lying to Me
‘You have business with me, but seriously, it’s in the dead of the night,’ You Xi ranted internally. ‘Why do you have to see me at this hour?’
He almost scared You Xi to death; it was like seeing a ghost.
“Uncle, t–tell me…” No matter how much he resented the situation, You Xi was still as meek as the respectful nephew he should be when he opened his mouth.
You Yi whipped out a cigarette and lit it up. The burning end of the cigarette cast a dim glow over his face. “Why did you fall down?” he asked.
You Xi licked his lips. “I–I was careless when I was smoking, and I–I fell.”
You Yi slowly puffed out a cloud of smoke, his tongue silent. The air was quickly filled with the acrid stench of cigarette smoke. You Yi did not speak, continuing to puff away at the cigarette. The lights were off in the room. The room was so quiet that it was uncomfortable; only the occasional sound of cigarette burning could be heard.
You Xi felt as though his heart was being clawed by a cat. He grew more anxious, more afraid.
“U–uncle, you… Why did you want to ask? Look, it’s so late already…”
You Yi flicked the butt of his cigarette; the burning end flew out, flickering then dying in the darkness.
“You Xi, I think you’ve forgotten what I once did. There’s no use in lying to me.”
You Xi was so scared that his heart nearly stopped; he almost jizzed in his pants. “Uncle, I–I’m not lying to you. I–I–I’m telling the truth. It’s all true…”
“I’m giving you one last chance. Are you going to tell me the truth?”
“Uncle, I really…fell down myself—”
The next second, You Yi dropped the cigarette onto the floor. He stood up and stamped out the fire. Then he extended his hand and grabbed You Xi.
“Uncle, uncle… You… What are you doing? Uncle, I–I’m not lying…”
You Yi dragged You Xi into the bathroom and turned on the lights there.
You Yi threw You Xi onto the floor, who was stunned with fear. He unbuttoned the cuffs of his sleeves and rolled them up. “If you won’t talk, I’ll talk,” he said as he rolled the sleeves up. “Drugging, kidnapping, attempted rape. You Xi… you really made a name for the Yous.”
You Xi’s body trembled throughout. He almost wanted to sob in fear at the sight of You Yi’s angry red eyes. “Uncle, I didn’t… I really didn’t—”
He did not get a chance to finish talking when You Yi grabbed the collar of his neck and dragged him in front of the toilet bowl. His uncle lifted the toilet bowl seat cover and viciously plunged You Xi’s head in. He did it so violently that he seemed like he wanted to dash You Xi’s brain into pieces.
“Un–glug glug– Un–cle–glug glug…”
You Yi’s almond eyes were even colder, even more terrifying from before. They resembled peach blossoms that bloomed during spring, drops of fresh blood dotting its petals—alluring, yet beautifully dangerous.

You Yi did not loosen his hold on You Xi’s neck.
You Xi’s hands clutched against the rim of the toilet bowl; his legs scrambled restlessly on the ground for purchase. He fought to stand up so badly, but his pampered muscles stood no chance against You Xi’s.
You Yi pressed against You Xi, not giving the slightest chance of movement.
If Yan Qingsi had not managed to escape that day, then now s–she…would… You Yi did not dare to imagine how things would have turned out.
He would not have the courage to face her—he would have even less courage to meet her mother.
You Yi seemed as if he really wanted to murder You Xi. His legs weakened as time went by, gradually losing the strength that supported him. His neck began to turn purple, and only then did You Yi pull his head out.
You Yi’s face was blue with suffocation. He almost lost consciousness.
He could finally breathe fresh air. He took in deep gulps of air…
