The Qiling Tunnel integrates karst caves, karst gullies, faults, rock bursts, yellow clay, etc. It has abundant groundwater and is very difficult to construct. It is a controlling project for the entire line. Due to its abnormal construction difficulty, it is called the "No. 1 Project" of the Beijing-Kowloon Railway.
