Chapter 663 Medicine Jar

To tear off a part from the vast river of time may sound like an understatement, like something that comes easily.

However, even those Taoist monarchs who have achieved Taoism and achieved enlightenment may not be able to achieve this feat easily.

This requires not only extraordinary and holy strength, but also a profound understanding and control of the laws of time and space.

However, since the Future Buddha has set such strict requirements on the sixth level, this undoubtedly indicates that although this road is difficult, it is by no means an impassable situation.

It seemed like a natural chasm, lying in front of Xie Que, but it also contained the hope of crossing.

Xie Que's state of mind at this moment was completely clear.

He knew that it was no accident that the future Buddha chose him as his successor, and this journey of teaching the Dharma would not be aimless.

Behind this, there must be a complicated causal structure hidden, as well as the high hopes and expectations that the future Buddha has for him.

Following this, Xie Que quickly found the key to breaking through the predicament.

And this so-called breakthrough, in his opinion, is the word "reckless".

But the "recklessness" here is by no means blind impulse and reckless behavior.

Rather, it is courage and determination based on a deep insight into and confidence in one's own strength.

Judging from Xie Que's strength distribution, what he is most proud of is his extremely powerful physical strength.

Ever since he condensed the "Flower of the Body" and subsequently awakened the heaven-defying magical power of the "Wuji Hundong Body\

,"His physical body has been pushed to an unprecedented height.

And when the terms "Wuji Hundong Body" and "Breaking Realm Body" were merged, Xie Que seemed to see the outline of his future.

An infinite mixed cave body with no upper limit... doesn't that mean infinite quality and the ultimate density?

With Xie Que's current size as vast as the sea, he already has the power to suppress time and space in the real world.

Wherever his main theme lies, he can make the long river of time become silent and invisible within a specific area.

Imagine if this mass could be further expanded until it is almost infinite, and the density would also rise to the unimaginable extreme.

So, wouldn’t it be difficult to tear off a piece in this vast river of time?

Once this idea emerged in Xie Que's mind, it spread rapidly like a wildfire that could no longer be contained.

However, Xie Que was also a little uneasy and uncertain about this idea.

After all, this is breaking ground in the long river of time, and if you are not careful, it may lead to unpredictable consequences.

But he knew very well that since the future Buddha chose him, it must have deep meaning, and he was willing to believe in this choice.

Of course, to achieve nearly infinite mass and density, the resources required are undoubtedly an astronomical number, enough to make any monk feel desperate and powerless.

But Xie Que did not back down because he possessed the two supreme methods of Hongmeng Parasitism Technique and Dragon-Snake Encircling World Scripture, which were enough to give him an advantage in acquiring resources.

What's more, the Buddhist world is a large world with a profound foundation that is beyond the imagination of ordinary monks.

Xie Que believes that the resources of the Buddhist world are enough to support him to complete it.

And he doesn't need to strip away all the hundreds of millions of years of Buddhist time like the Lantern Buddha.

All he needs is a small fragment in the long river of time.

Thinking of this, Xie Que began to cultivate and expand the blood vessels like blood vessels.

Although his current growth rate is astonishing, it is still far from enough.

Xie Que knew that only by pushing the speed of growth to an almost infinite state could his size be almost infinite.

Under the vast and dry land of the Buddha Realm, these blood veins continue to extend like greedy tentacles, incorporating every inch of the Buddha Realm into their own territory.

This made the already silent Buddhist world even more deadly and depressing.

However, it was this expansion at all costs that allowed Xie Que to gain several more Buddha Fires in just a few months.

When these Buddha fires meet each other, they naturally merge together.

In Xie Que's true spirit, it turned into a cluster of more magnificent and dazzling flames.

Even so, Xie Que still couldn't discern the nature of this Buddha's fire.

The only feeling this Buddha fire gave him was that it was like a living creature.

Or rather, it's more like an egg, and something seems to be hatching inside.

Regarding this, Xie Que had no idea and couldn't guess what was inside.

All he can do now is to keep collecting and make the Buddha Fire in the True Spirit stronger and stronger.

He believed that one day, when the Buddha's fire reached a certain critical point, it would break out of its shell.

By then, Xie Que would naturally know what the Buddha's fire represented.

Under such terrifying expansion, Xie Que's size and strength are also constantly expanding and growing.

What makes Xie Que a little annoyed is that even if he compresses the Wuji Hundong body to a very small level,

It has made its own density as compressible as possible, but it still cannot shake the long river of time.

This sense of frustration made Xie Que fall into deep self-doubt.

He began to question whether he was going in the right direction and whether he was on a path destined to fail.

But if this method cannot tear apart the long river of time, what else can I do?

The Dragon and Snake World Sutra?

However, even the Eye of the Candle Dragon is not more powerful than the Wuji Hundong Body, and it cannot tear apart the river of time.

Although Xie Que did not succeed in tearing apart the river of time, its size is also increasing day by day.

The blood veins underground are like vines growing wildly in spring, becoming more and more lush and unstoppable.

Especially as the number of blood veins increases, they are like stars, spreading across every corner of the Buddhist world, and the speed of reproduction and branching is even more amazing.

Especially as the time goes by, the number of Xie Que's blood channels will increase, and the more and more branches he can reproduce will be faster.

Xie Que's power is increasing at an almost exponential rate.

Now he has swallowed up nearly one ten thousandth of the Buddhist world.

Although this size is only one ten thousandth, it is still quite astonishing.

You know, this is only one ten thousandth of the Buddha Realm, but its size is huge enough to compare with several small worlds like Xiaobeihai Realm.

And in the three thousand worlds under the rule of the Buddha Realm, those seemingly prosperous places,

In fact, they are just some "debris" on the broken earthly immortal world.

The real Earthly Immortal Realm is by no means inferior to the Buddha Realm in terms of its size.

However, Xie Que’s path of expansion will not be endless.

As he devours the barren, desolate and inaccessible "no man's land" one by one, his expansion speed will naturally slow down.

After all, the Buddhist world is not empty.

Those Quasi-Taoguos hidden in the dark may be quietly observing all this, and maybe the Buddha is among them now.

Now it is just because his destiny is empty that he has not taken action against Xueluo. If you are too arrogant, someone may take risks and damage your blood vessels.

On the other side, Xie Que's true body returned to the Maha Realm.

The various sect forces that were originally ready to launch a war with the Mingguang Realm,

After the Buddha returned intact, he naturally paused and prepared to obey the Buddha's instructions.

Yang Zhiyuan did not hide the whereabouts of his trip with the Buddhist disciples from anyone, and also showed that the Buddhist world can travel freely through the long river of time.

Therefore, no one worried about Xie Que's safety, and no one went to look for him in the Buddhist world.

After all, the vastness of the Buddhist world is simply astonishing.

Even if it is a Heavenly Lord from the other side, constantly leaping through the void,

I'm afraid it will take millions of years to visit all the continents in the Buddhist world.

If they enter the Buddhist world and want to find someone, it will be even more difficult than finding a needle in a haystack.

After returning to Wuyin Temple, before Xie Que could take a breath, Guan Qi couldn't wait to come to see him.

There was a bit of solemnity and eagerness on his face:

"Buddha, at the last moment when he was about to leave this Maha Realm and set foot on the other shore, the old Buddha left some objects and told us to hand them over to you when you return."

Xie Que's heart moved slightly and he couldn't help but feel curious.

Why didn't Guan Qi give these objects to him before?

What is the reason for this, or do you have any doubts about your identity?

However, Guan Qi's next words quickly dispelled all his worries.

"The old Buddha once left his last words. These items can only be delivered to you when you, son of the Buddha, return safely from the Buddhist world."

When Xie Que heard this, he felt relieved and nodded lightly.

As the representative of the future Buddha in the long river of time, the old Buddha naturally has the ability to predict things beyond ordinary people.

It is not surprising that he can know something about the future and foresee his own arrival.

When Xie Que took the object presented by Guan Qi and took a closer look, he found that it was just an ordinary-looking medicine jar.

A vivid and vivid picture is painted on the medicine jar: the sun and moon shine together in the sky, reflecting each other, while on the ground there seems to be a monk wearing cassocks, who is concentrating on pounding medicine and decoction.

This picture seems to contain some deep meaning.

Xie Que just glanced at it, and the three words "Medicine Buddha" appeared in his heart involuntarily.

Medicine Buddha, this great being known as the "Leader of the Oriental Jingli World" in Buddhism,

With endless compassion and wisdom, save all sentient beings and eliminate disease and suffering.

Among the ancient legends and the classics that Xie Que has read,

Medicine Buddha is often revered as the predecessor of Maitreya Buddha.

Before he became a Buddha, he made twelve great wishes out of a compassionate heart, wishing that there would be no more disease and pain in the world, and wishing that all demonic obstacles would be eliminated.

It is this deep compassion and grand vow that made him revered as the "Medicine Buddha" and was even revered as the "Medicine Buddha" by all the Buddhas.

At this moment, the medicine jar in Xie Que's hand, and the picture painted on it, the person on the ground is undoubtedly the Medicine Master Buddha.

Wearing a cassock, he has a compassionate face and is concentrating on pounding medicine and decoction, as if he wants to turn his compassion into endless nectar and sprinkle it into the world to save all sentient beings.

The sun and moon in the sky symbolize Sunlight Bodhisattva and Moonlight Bodhisattva.

As the two attendants of Medicine Buddha, they guard this pure land and work with Medicine Buddha to save all living beings.

Xie Que held the medicine jar, which was slightly larger than his fist, in his hand and looked at it carefully.

Its color is simple and its texture is calm. Looking at its color and distinguishing its quality, it should be made of bronze.

However, this bronze is not an ordinary thing. There is nothing special about it, it seems to be the most ordinary and inconspicuous bronze vessel.

Xie Que tried to feel the existence of spiritual energy from it, but found nothing.

This made him wonder, is this medicine jar really just an ordinary bronze ware?

He used various means to test it, from the most basic touch and weight,

to more advanced magical power detection, and even used the technique of cosmic light backtracking, trying to explore the mystery of this medicine jar.

However, all the tests showed that this was just an ordinary bronze ware, without the slightest breath of a magic weapon.

What is even more surprising is that according to Guan Qi,

even after more than 300,000 years, under the erosion of time,

this bronze ware did not show any signs of damage, as if it could travel through time and last forever.

Therefore, this seemingly ordinary medicine jar must be hiding some unknown secrets.

After all, it came from the hands of the old Buddha, how could it be an ordinary thing?

Xie Que secretly wondered in his heart, what kind of profound meaning does this medicine jar contain?

Why did the old Buddha give him this ordinary-looking object when he returned from the Buddhist world?

According to Guan Qi, this medicine jar has maintained its current form for more than 300,000 years, which really puzzled Xie Que.

He tried his best to uncover the mystery of this medicine jar, but found that no matter how it was tested, it seemed ordinary and there was nothing unusual.

However, according to common sense, even the toughest bronze ware could not withstand such a long period of erosion and remain immortal.

Guan Qi also had the same doubts, but the facts were in front of him. This medicine jar has indeed gone through 300,000 years of wind and rain and is still intact.

What is even more peculiar is that when Xie Que tried to accelerate its aging process with the art of cosmic light,

this medicine jar decayed rapidly like an ordinary bronze ware.

It seems that this characteristic of being able to remain constant and motionless will only appear under certain conditions.

Once it is washed by the cosmic light, it will disappear in a very short time.

No more than 3,000 years of cosmic light will turn it into a pool of copper powder.

Xie Que sat in meditation, trying to explore the secret of the medicine jar through the study of things,

However, no matter how hard he tried, he failed to make any progress.

In desperation, he began to read the relevant books of Medicine Buddha, hoping to find a clue in them,

However, even after reading all the books, he failed to solve the mystery of the medicine jar.

Just when Xie Que was about to put this matter aside for the time being, Yang Zhiyuan came to Wuyin Temple.

Although he had never seen the relics left by the old Buddha with his own eyes, he had heard about it,

So, he asked curiously: "Buddha, what exactly is that thing left by the old Buddha?"

The words were full of curiosity and desire for the unknown.

Xie Que shook his head and laughed at himself: "I don't know either."

"But you said... Is there anything in this world that has not decayed after years, but is shattered by the light of the universe?"

Yang Zhiyuan was stunned: "It has not decayed after years... but is scattered by the light of the universe..."

"You are talking about... Isn't it the light of the universe itself?" (End of this chapter)
