In terms of ecological and environmental protection, so far, the high-quality clean electricity energy generated by the Three Gorges Power Station is equivalent to saving 430 million tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 1.169 billion tons, with significant energy-saving and emission-reduction benefits.
